Things founders ask before they hit send
Do I have to have a certain amount of funding or revenue? +
No. We feature founders at every stage — pre-product, bootstrapped, funded, and everything in between. The only requirement is that you're building something real and you're Latina-led. Browse existing profiles at Founders to see the range.
What does "Latina-led" mean for this platform? +
At least one founding team member identifies as Latina. That includes Afro-Latina, Indigenous Latina, and mixed heritage founders across all Latin American backgrounds. You know if this is you.
How long does it take to hear back? +
We review every submission and aim to respond within two weeks. If you haven't heard back after three, feel free to follow up at our contact page.
Can I submit a company I co-founded with someone who isn't Latina? +
Yes. We feature the Latina founder — your profile, your story, your company. Co-founders are part of your story and we'll mention them when relevant.
Is there a fee to be featured? +
None. This platform was built to raise visibility, not extract it. Submission and inclusion are always free. See Startups for the companies already on the platform.
What if I submitted before and wasn't featured? +
Things change — your company grows, your story gets sharper. Submit again. A previous decision doesn't lock you out. If you want to talk it through, reach out directly.

¿Necesito tener financiamiento o ingresos para enviar mi historia a Latina Startups?
No. Latina Startups presenta fundadoras en todas las etapas: pre-producto, bootstrapped, con financiamiento o en etapa de idea. El único requisito es que estés construyendo algo real y que tu empresa sea liderada por una latina. Puedes explorar los perfiles existentes en la sección Founders para ver la variedad de empresas incluidas.
¿Qué significa que una empresa sea 'liderada por una latina' según esta plataforma?
Significa que al menos un miembro del equipo fundador se identifica como latina. Esto incluye fundadoras afrolatinas, latinas indígenas y fundadoras de herencia mixta de todos los países latinoamericanos. La plataforma reconoce la diversidad dentro de esa identidad y confía en que cada fundadora sabe si ese término la representa.
¿Cuánto tiempo tarda Latina Startups en responder a una solicitud enviada?
El equipo de Latina Startups revisa cada solicitud y busca responder en un plazo de dos semanas. Si después de tres semanas no has recibido respuesta, puedes hacer seguimiento a través de la página de contacto de la plataforma.
¿Tiene algún costo ser incluida en la plataforma de Latina Startups?
No tiene ningún costo. Latina Startups fue creada para ampliar la visibilidad de las fundadoras latinas, no para cobrar por ello. Tanto el envío de la solicitud como la inclusión en la plataforma son completamente gratuitos, sin ningún esquema de pago por participar.
¿Puedo enviar una solicitud si cofundé mi empresa con alguien que no es latina?
Sí. Latina Startups presenta a la fundadora latina: su perfil, su historia y su empresa. Los cofundadores forman parte de la historia y se mencionarán cuando sea relevante, pero el perfil y el protagonismo son de la fundadora latina.
¿Qué pasa si ya envié una solicitud anteriormente y no fui incluida?
Una decisión anterior no te excluye de volver a intentarlo. Latina Startups invita a las fundadoras a enviar una nueva solicitud si su empresa ha crecido o su historia se ha definido mejor.
